Conference Speaker Troubleshooting – Toucan TCS100KU
Conference Speaker troubleshooting for Toucan model TCS100KU. Start with the checks below to identify whether the issue concerns power, connection or settings. Use the instructions for your exact model before changing its installation.
Start with power and model details
Check the cable is fully connected to the device and computer. Use the connection method described in your model’s guide, and test another compatible computer port if available.
Check your meeting software
Open the audio and video settings in the application you are using. Select your Toucan device as the appropriate microphone, speaker or camera rather than leaving the app on a different built-in device. Check mute controls and the relevant camera or microphone permissions on your computer.
Close other applications that may be using the same camera or microphone, then make a test call. If the device works in one app but not another, record which application is affected and its version when contacting support.
Check the room setup
Make a short test recording or call to check the result. Reduce nearby background noise and check lighting where a camera is used. Keep the device positioned as described in its guide and avoid covering microphones or the lens.
Use the correct guide
Open the Toucan installation guides and select your model and language. Follow the connection and setup steps for your conferencing device. Avoid a factory reset until you have checked the model-specific instructions and understand the steps needed to reconnect.
